ARMAGH GEORGIAN FESTIVAL
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Please refer to visitarmagh.com/Georgian for more detailed travel options, including how to get to Armagh. There are bus connections from Belfast-Armagh, Dublin-Armagh, trains to Portadown from Dublin and Belfast and other transport options. See w translink.co.uk to plan your trip. We encourage our visitors to make use of public transport as much as possible.
PARK & RIDE OPTIONS
There will be free park and ride buses to and from Armagh city centre serving Portadown Train Station, Richhill War Memorial, Elim Church, Armagh, Palace Demesne, Navan Centre & Fort throughout the day. Please see w visitarmagh.com/Georgian for timetables. All buses are wheelchair accessible.
PARKING INFORMATION
In addition to the park and ride services, there are a range of parking options in the city centre. Please refer to the map on the right-hand side but be aware that car parks can be extremely busy, particularly on Georgian Day. We therefore highly
recommend use of the park and ride service. ABC Council owned car parks are free of charge during Georgian Day (Saturday). All city centre car parks have accessible parking spaces.
ROAD CLOSURES
There will be some road closures in and around the city centre during the festival to accommodate the events. Please visit website or see social media for updates to help when planning your visit.
ACCESSIBILITY
We endeavour to make our events as inclusive as possible to those with accessibility and sensory needs. Please find details of provisions in place for Georgian Day, Saturday 30th November 2024 at: w visitarmagh.com/georgianaccessibility
VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Please note that during the festival, photographers and videographers may be present, capturing images for future use online, for social media and other marketing activities. If you’d prefer not to have your image used, please feel free to speak directly with photographer, videographer or a member of staff.
