Why Is The Question I Identified Important  I want to know if Stratospheric

Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) can be used to observe other planets.  SOFIA is a complex system that was used to observe the moon, but not as the intended purposes of the project.  SOFIA has the potential of other uses.  SOFIA did a meticulous job in gathering information about the moon, raising chances of further improvements on the technology for better exploration of the outer space.

Impact Of The Answer The answer to the capacity of SOFIA to be explored to observe other planets and moons may help astronomy to easily study other space bodies.  The answer may also interest students and other players in astronomy as they study objects in the outer space.  The possibility of SOFIA being deployed to observe other moons and planets will reduce the need to send astronauts in the space.  The space station has not determined whether SOFIA can be put on other uses, hence the importance of the answer in stimulating new though about the use of the project. 
