1 Proposing Recommendations from Clinical Data Statistical Test In this study, I used the independent t-test to compare the means between two ulcer therapies involving 43 participants. The statistical test helps to understand whether there is a difference in ulcer therapies based on the last visit in months, age in years, and disease duration. Results A t-test was run to compare therapies A and B. There was 19 participant in the therapy A and 24 in the therapy B.

The results showed no mean difference in time of last visit in months for the treatment group in therapy A (M = 9.74) compared to the group in therapy B (M = 10.96), p = .2. The two groups did not show a mean difference in age for therapy A (M = 50.74) and therapy B (M = 51.17), p = .9. Finally, no mean difference was depicted by disease duration for therapy A (M = 1.32) and therapy B (M = 1.25), p = .5. Conclusion The independent t-test showed no significant difference in ulcer therapies (A and B) based on time of the last visit in months, age in years, and duration of disease.
Recommendation Based on the analysis, the study recommends adopting either of the therapies as both are equally effective. Further analysis needs to be carried out with more data to ascertain the study finding and rule out the possibility of chance in current findings.
