1 Americans with Disabilities Act The course I studied is Business Management. I gained a lot of knowledge from various topics regarding how an organization can effectively manage its operations and other organizational functions. Among the issues that I learned, the most compelling ones included employees' health and safety, handling employee grievances, and dispute resolution among workers. Under employees’ health and safety, I learned that firms must adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) since it ensures the organization does not violate any ethics that may harm its workforce. OSHA provides safe and healthy work environments for all employees (Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, 2020). Moreover, complying with such guidelines prevents issues with law enforcement agencies. Buy this excellently written paper or order a fresh one from ace-myhomework.com polished tutors.

Participating in the discussions of the topics under this course with my classmates helped me better understand them since we discussed them from a broader perspective. During the talks, every participant contributed several ideas that some of us may not have captured, and we elaborated on every view to gain a deeper understanding of the topics. Moreover, I was able to ask questions regarding the areas that I did not understand well, and the other participants responded comprehensively. As of now, I may only have missed the consequences that an organization may face if it does not adhere to the Americans with Disabilities Act since we may not have exhausted all the points on the topic. During the discussions, we could have gained additional valuable information by creating awareness among ourselves regarding any cultural, social, or experiential barrier that may affect an individual’s learning. The discussion environment should be favoring all participants to facilitate their will of contribution (Mejia, 2020). We may also encourage participants to contribute more by asking follow-up questions concerning their comments and encouraging everyone to be fearless in admitting when they do not know something. Accepting confusion or lack of understanding will enable the discussion participants to elaborate the points further using various examples for quick learning.
