More than just a brand
It's an accumulated experience that becomes a way of lifestyle
Many people would be surprised when hearing Acer has stepped into the field of apparel (including bags, luggage, clothes, and wearing accessories), as their impression toward Acer is most likely a global personal computer and consumer electronics brand. How come Acer started making soft goods like bags and clothes?
In fact, Acer has been actively transforming from a computer brand to a lifestyle brand in recent years, the initiatives include beverage for gamers & office workers, religious bracelets with smart functions, small home appliances, smart parking solution and so on, covering target audiences’ daily needs to drink, to wear, to live, and to travel.
When it comes to bags, actually Acer has been working in this area for a long time. At the beginning, it launched various soft and hard bags/shells/covers/luggage for carrying and protecting electronic products such as computers and tablets. It has gone through many different stages: from mainly functiondriven, to quality design; from only looking at product structure, to further understanding and making good use of materials science; from purely offering them as giveaways with electronic products, to selling them separately, as more stylish and creative products for different target audiences & life scenarios. As of today, if we stacking the annual bag shipment from Acer worldwide side by side, the height is far more than 500 x Taipei-101.
During the process of developing various bags, we have learned that what consumers really
care about is the overall solution, not just each single piece of the product, so how we present the offering to fit into the target audiences’ outfit and fulfill their need matters, as they all represent the identity of whoever wearing/ carrying them.
Being on the treasure island of the global textile industry research-and-development center, with abundant supply chain resources and world-leading material technology, we’re committed to designing and integrating attractive solutions, then promote and distribute them to worldwide, based on Acer Group’s knowhow and understanding toward each market.
Compared with bags, we’re relatively new in clothes area. So far we’ve had the protective jackets, along with our antimicrobial bag series, to respond the need in this epidemic era; the cyclist garments and bags designed for cyclists & e-bike users; the gaming garments, bags, and luggage for passionate e-Sport lovers; the eco-friendly tops with corresponding bags and accessories adopting green materials, etc. All these will be visible in this issue which we named it “Cure all Diseases” (as the pronunciation of ‘cure’ in mandarin is the same as ‘bag’) in a playful way.
In the future, we will launch more solutions of carrying/wearing/protecting for different groups. We also invite you to continue supporting us and following our social media, whether as end consumers, as social media fans, as direct or indirect partners.
