Be Up To Standard

To be confident your pavement design meets the most stringent quality standards, before choosing products consult the design information available in BS 7533-101:2021 Parts 1 and 2 for block paving; Parts 8 and 12 for flags; Part 13 for permeable pavements, which refers to the design of pavements for heavy and light duty traffic. These codes of practice have been written using information derived from extensive research and cover pavement design for all situations. All AG products are manufactured to fulfil industry standards and we can advise you on the best choices.

Passes All The Tests

AG’s paving and flagstones are produced and tested to the relevant and current British Standards. Testing is carried out both in-house and at accredited independent testing laboratories. For copies of all test results, please speak to one of our specification managers. With all products, tolerances are allowed within the manufacturing standards. Please refer to the relevant standard when assessing permittable tolerances.

Suitable Laying Course Material

As our experience of paving has increased, our understanding of the requirements for laying course materials has been honed. Laying course materials should be naturally occurring sands/angular stone. Other materials including crushed rock should be used only for Category IV applications.
