OUTSIDE ROOMS

NEED A LITTLE HELP TO CREATE YOUR DREAM GARDEN?

Do you find it hard to visualise your ideal outside room? We can help. In addition to our team of experts we offer bespoke landscape design services. We have in-house design consultants based in our Dungannon outlet – offering a free-of-charge landscape design which includes a digital CAD drawing. A premium in-house service is also available which includes 3D images to help you clearly visualise your potential new surroundings (fees apply). We also offer two very different on-site landscape design services with our independent consultants. Our on-site 3D design specialist will produce a digital design with 3D images, while our on-site classic design specialist will produce a traditional 2D hand-drawn design. The on-site consultant will visit your home at a convenient time to discuss ideas and take measurements. Following this, a scaled colour plan will be provided. Fees start at £300 (incl. VAT) which are refundable (in products) on purchases over £3,000 (excl. VAT) through an Outside Rooms Centre (T+Cs apply).

RECOMMENDED INSTALLERS

Who should install your products?

Finding the right tradesman can be difficult, but we’ve done all the hard work for you with our list of AG Recommended Installers. These experts have passed our careful selection process to gain our tick of approval – so you know your project is in good hands. To find your local AG Recommended Installer visit our website or call in to one of our four Outside Room Centres.

How to choose.

Plan early.

Good contractors are in demand and are often booked up weeks or months in advance. Be wary of contractors who can start immediately.

Always get more than one quote.

We recommend getting at least three but make sure they are like-for-like for a true price comparison. These should be dated with details of how long the quotation is valid for and must be on headed paper with the contractor’s contact information.

Check them out.

Ask if they have the relevant Public & Employer Liability insurance and if they are members of any trade associations. Ask for references from previous customers and details of where their work can be viewed.

Ask their advice.

The added bonus of contacting more than one contractor is that you often get a range of valuable free design advice. Many will have a photograph album of previous jobs that can help you visualise how our products will look in your plan.

Don’t decide purely on price.

It’s important that you feel comfortable with your contractor, that they understand your needs and that you’re confident in their abilities.

Once you’ve made your decision.

Get an estimated start and completion date. These should be a little flexible as they can often change due to weather conditions and extended time spent on earlier jobs. Make any changes from the initial quotation and have an up-to-date quotation agreed and drawn up. Make sure you understand the plan fully and that the area measurements and order quantities are correct. Take an ongoing interest in the work and if there are any variations to what has been agreed, deal with them face-to-face.

To avoid wastage.

Get your contractor to accurately measure areas on site before placing an order. It’s important to note that AG do not accept returns on any materials.

FINANCE PACKAGE

Interest free credit now available.

AG has introduced an easier way to pay. Spread the cost of your new hard landscaping and building products.

Ask instore for more details.

Terms and conditions apply. Subject to credit approval through Hitachi Capital Finance.

What is an urban garden? At its heart, it’s a garden that has to conform to a small or specific space. Beyond that, it can take all kinds of forms, depending upon what your site calls for.
