Overview Committed to maximizing results and growing initiatives, Mariama Boney, LMSW, CAE, CPEC is an educational administrator, trainer, association executive, facilitator, and consultant, serving in three associations, five colleges/universities, and two non-profits over 20 years, she is focused on applying strategic management and executive leadership to create and produce quality programs and services, while developing thousands of caring and competent students, faculty, volunteer leaders, professionals, and boards. Mariama has held senior roles and served on executive management teams to lead student support, multicultural, and diversity services; university and public relations; membership, member engagement and component relations; plus, national awards; accessibility, diversity and inclusion; governance review; and volunteer leadership development. As a certified coach, certified association executive, and licensed social worker in VA and MD, her impact demonstrates a distinguished record of directing operations, designing strategy, developing programs, and building partnerships with over 750 diverse groups, teams, and stakeholders of 20 to 100,000 impacting 2 million+. “Leadership is not about a title or a designation.
