Strong Lineup of Speakers for 12th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition
The 12th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference and Exhibition will be held from April 10 – 12, 2017 in Doha, Qatar. The event will bring all sectors of the global aviation industry players together to discuss the latest trends and strategies through dynamic presentations and interactive panel discussion. One of the highlights of the program will be the Leaders’ Forum on April 11. (Information about the other sessions can be found in the Event website : http://aci-apaa2017.com/) Leaders’ Forum: What Defines a Best Airport? No two airports are the same as each operates under very different conditions in terms of aviation and commercial activities, site constraints, governance and ownership structure, etc. Aside from the memorable passenger journey experience and unique attributes that are now expected at some of the world’s top airports, what then defines tomorrow’s best airports? Should the best airport excel in environmental stewardship? Should it be measured on its effectiveness in productivity and cost? Or is it financially and commercially sound? What about the basics, like safety and security? The forum will look at some of the key performance indicators that set the best from the rest. with the following speakers confirmed:

ACI Developing Nations Airport Assistance (DNA) Seminar in Doha – Calling for Registration The ACI-DNA Assistance Programme (ACI-DNA) is organizing a training seminar with Hamad International Airport. This by-invitation-only seminar entitled “Airport Air Service Development” will be held in Doha, Qatar from April 910, 2017.

The seminar is intended for airport leaders in the areas of airport economics and will be conducted in English. Content will include: • • • • •
Airport/airline business relations; Identifying the market potential for the airport’s location; Overall airport marketing strategy to grow airline and non-aeronautical revenues; Marketing support and financial incentives for route development; Bilateral negotiations to create successful environment for airline operations.
In order to ensure an effective and interactive training, the number of participants is limited to two persons per ACI member. Only the first 25 registrations received will be taken into consideration, on a first come, first served basis. Please complete the registration form and reply by email to DNA@aci.aero by 9 March 2017. The participation in the seminar is complimentary; the costs of accommodation at the Doha Marriott Hotel will be met by the ACI-DNA Programme from the evening of April 8 to noon April 10 (2 nights). Participants are required to book and pay for the costs of their plane tickets to and from Doha, their visa if necessary, as well as any other related miscellaneous expenses.
