ACI Asia-Pacific Small Airports Assistance Program 2018

The ACI Asia-Pacific is pleased to announce the ACI Asia-Pacific Small Airports Assistance Program (SAAP) 2018. ACI Asia-Pacific recognizes the importance of capacity building for airport staff in Asia-Pacific, the fastest growing region in aviation. The SAAP is designed to assist airport members which are small in size and with limited budget, to attend ACI training courses and participate in initiatives that encourage knowledge exchange amongst airports in the region. The SAAP is open to ACI Asia-Pacific airport members in good standing who are (1) from developing nations according to The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and (2) handled less than 5,000,000 traffic units in 2015 as per 2018 membership dues. This year, each eligible airport member in good standing may benefit from one of the following options: • • •

ACI Training Courses Airport Study Tour Airport Mentorship Program

On top of the three training and knowledge exchange opportunities offered above, ACI Asia-Pacific is pleased to offer SAAP eligible members one additional Conference Incentive Program (CIP) quota in 2018. ACI Asia-Pacific sees the value of capacity building for our members in attending regional industry events and benefitting from industry best practices exchange. Hence, on top of the two free registrations for all regular airport members under the CIP, airport members who are eligible for SAAP can have one extra registration for free to attend the specified ACI events. To know more about the program, please contact Ms. Sharmaine Li, Assistant Manager, External Affairs at sharmaine@aci-asiapac.aero.
