The Trinity Forum 2016 Successfully Concluded in Mumbai

The Trinity Forum 2016 was successfully concluded in Mumbai with the support from the host, Mumbai International Airport Limited. ACI Asia-Pacific, once again partnered with ACI World and The Moodie Davitt Report in organising this event which has long been recognized as the leading global airport commercial revenues conference in the region.

At the welcome reception, Angela Gittens, ACI World Director General, Dr. GVK Reddy, GVK Executive Chairman, Patti Chau, ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Director and Martin Moodie, Founder & Chairman of The Moodie Davitt Report welcomed the delegates to the Trinity Forum 2016.

The event was held from September 12 – 14 and has attracted over 270 key decision makers from around the airport commercial world. The event kicked off with a cocktail evening hosted by the Mumbai International Airport Limited and followed by two full days of high-level discussions on airport commercial issues. At the opening ceremony held on September 13, Angela Gittens, Director General of ACI and Martin Moodie, Founder & Chairman of The Moodie Davitt Report warmly welcomed the delegates to Mumbai for the Trinity Forum 2016. 2016 World Business Partners Airport Tour – Open for Registration

The 2016 World Business Partners (WBP) Airport Tour is now open for registration. Since the launch of the ACI Asia-Pacific WBP Airport Tour in 2011, this is the first time the tour is open to WBP memberships under ACI Europe. This year, the destination of the tour will be in the Middle East and the participants will be able to visit three international airports with schedule as below • • •

13 Nov: Muscat International Airport (Muscat, Oman) 14 Nov: Hamad International Airport (Doha, Qatar) 15 Nov: Mehrabad International Airport (Tehran, Iran)

Registration is now open and seats are allocated on first-come-first-served basis. Each WBP member may register up to two participants. The deadline for registration is 6 October 2016. For further information about the Airport Tour 2016, please email wbp@aciasiapac.aero.

ACI Security & Crisis Management Special Summit, 22 – 23 November in Brussels

As a result of this year’s heightened security situation in Europe and beyond, underlined by the attacks on the airports in Brussels and Istanbul, ACI EUROPE and ACI Asia-Pacific have decided to stage a special “Security & Crisis Management Special Summit” which will be held over two days in central Brussels, 22-23 November, hosted by Brussels Airport. The event will bring together the most senior security, transport and counterterrorism officials and experts in the capital of Europe. It will include case studies from the most recent and historical security events, in-depth analysis on current terrorist threats, and presentations from a powerful selection of top airport security experts and the leading security technology companies. Korea Airports Corporation becomes an ACI Global Training venue ACI and Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) are pleased to announce their agreement to open a new training venue, making KAC the second venue in the Asia-Pacific region.


ACI Training on Capacity Enhancement and Resource Planning An ACI Training on Capacity Enhancement and Resource Planning will be held from October 26 – 28 in Incheon, South Korea.
