The Nightingale Bursary

The Nightingale Bursary, funded by Essex County Council, aims to help those who work within the Health & Social Care sector to progress within their careers.

The bursary will fund the training of Health & Social Care employees and personal assistants, including those who work as unpaid carers. Top-up training is also available to support continued professional development and financial bursaries to provide equipment, travel expenses and resources for new entrants into the workforce. An exciting Fast Track Management programme is included which will support the recruitment of new Care Managers across Essex along with ambitious plans to increase the uptake of apprenticeships in the Health and Care Sector.
