Supporting Workforce Development in Health & Social Care

The bursary will enable existing health and care employees without a qualification to gain a national and sector recognised Diploma that supports their job role and progression.

Additionally, there will be opportunities for employees to undertake an accredited Certificate that will support their Continuous Professional Development.

The training will help to raise the skills and confidence of this valued workforce and enable individuals to progress and excel in their role.

Maths and English is also offered as part of their programme. ACL will fund these qualifications through its Adult Education Budget allocation that it receives from the Education and Skills Funding Agency.

Additional financial support is available to pay for books, Laptops, Wi-Fi and equipment directly related to the course undertaken.

We look forward to hearing about your experiences and progression opportunities that may follow.
