Following elements are included in scope of supply:
General These design covers have to be used exclusively for combination with channel gratings of relevant length. The design covers are available for ACO ShowerDrain shower channels of the following lengths: 700, 800, 900, 1000 and 1200 mm. Design covers of ACO Haustechnik are tested in accordance with DIN EN 1253 and can be used for the load class K3 (loading up to 300 kg) described therein. They consist of «ESG» (tempered safety glass) as per DIN EN 12150.
1. Design cover with plastic legs (premounted)
Thanks to thermic hardening, the mechanic rigidity value is twice or three times as high as that of normal glass. Increased thermal shock resistance, increased impact strength and impingement resistance as well as increased bending strength are the thus particular features of these products.
2. Vacuum cup
Depending on their length, the design covers come with a certain number of plastic legs, premounted at our works:
At a later date, the design cover can be exchanged with another pattern of the range shown above. When ordering, pay attention to correct cover length.

0150.24.88 Assembly Only after assembly of shower channel base body and finishing of floor covering, the design covers of glass or mineral material have to be inserted into the channel. It must be paid attention that the side with the plastic legs points downwards when inserting into the channel body. Disassembly For cleaning of glass grating, put the vacuum cup onto the smooth grating surface (fig.1). Fig. 1
Then, lift vacuum cup with grating carefully. Now, the grating can be taken out the channel (fig.2). For intense cleaning of cover, the plastic legs can be removed. When sticking again together with the design cover it must be observed that cover side bearing the ACO logo points upwards (visible face). The plastic legs must not be slided on, but can simply be clipped on again. In order to guarantee load class K3 as per DIN EN 1253, the distances between the plastic legs must be kept in accordance with below table: Fig. 2
