BAHAMAS AS A SUPERYACHT DESTINATION

A yacht charter is the perfect way to explore the 700+ island paradise of the Bahamas! Widely considered the Eden island retreat of the boat and yacht charter world, the Bahamas is a hushed haven of island lapped by crystal clear waters, with a wealth of history, culture, cuisine and serene views. With an abundance of uninhabited islands and secret anchorages, the Bahamas is the perfect destination for those who enjoy world-class finishing, diving and snorkeling amongst reefs and wrecks.

The Bahamas has huge potential for growth and a partnership with ACREW can assist the existing growth strategy.

7 DESTINATION MARKETING

FAMILIARISATION TRIPS

Fam Trips are an undervalued marketing tool that any destination can use. They have become increasingly popular when it comes to destination marketing over the years. It is a new concept that works - and boosts the reputation of your Destination & Marina.

ACREW invites targeted audiences such as Charter Brokers, Captains, Chief Stewardesses, Pursers, and Head of Departments to visit your destination. The objective is to engage with high-end guests that do not know your destination/marina well enough to promote it to their clients. It is the perfect opportunity to position your brand in the market as a key superyacht destination.

“In my 20 years of yachting this was the first time I had attended a crew ONLY event such as yours, it was fantastic to meet lots of new people, and go to crew workshops that were relevant to what we do onboard, and not a broker insight! Then to finish with the Crewfest Games on the last day followed by a night of laughing and dancing in front of that huge sound system with some amazing tunes being played by Dani at the masquerade ball was the icing on the cake. Again, to all the ACREW team thank you, and hopefully see you next year.”

“It was the first time I have seen something organized that made me feel like what we are doing is truly a professional industry. All the events were professionally organized and run, and I had a great time getting involved with everything. I’m truly excited to attend another ACREW event as soon as possible.”
