ACREW WELCOMES ALL SUPERYACHT BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS ACREW was established with the mission to raise standards onboard superyachts. To continuously strive towards this ACREW has, to date, run 75 events. We have a membership for over 14.000 captains and crew of which over 2.500 visit our events annually. Our events provide an unparalleled opportunity for superyacht captains to learn from key industry experts and network with peers in a professional environment. In 2018 we launched the first international Crew Awards as a platform for global recognition of those captains and crew who truly excel in their work. This year we received over 450 nominations and over 25,000 votes ahead of the ceremony on 12th October 2019. As we look towards 2020 we realise that we need to grow ACREW with the growing demand from all sides of the industry to continue to improve standards onboard. We work with all categories of businesses to ensure we support crew in technical, service, management and safety knowledge. In order to reach more crew and work with more industry experts we have broadened the base of ACREW events and introduced the ACREW Business Membership. SUPERYACHT CREW WEBINARS ACREW Online delivers digital learning opportunities to superyacht captains and crew. ACREW captain and crew members are invited to participate in webinars directly from their own cabin or crew mess. ACREW will promote an entire series of workshops online as a virtual 1-week event with a full programme and promotional campaign. ACREW Online lets crew from all over the globe join ACREW events and learn alongside their peers. During this time of uncertainty and travel bans ACREW Online provides a much needed learning resource for superyachts as well as a direct marketing channel for our ACREW Business Members.

HOW DO ACREW ONLINE WEBINARS WORK?
Each ACREW Online Superyacht Crew Webinar is a live presentation to key decision makers onboard superyachts. A recording of the webinar will be available at acrew.com and shared over social media giving our ACREW Business Members extensive coverage and reach to the superyacht crew community.

ACREW uses a leading software called Webinarjam to host ACREW Online Webinars. Your ACREW Webinar will be live with video and you have the option to share your screen, display a whiteboard or share handouts to the attendees. An ACREW team member will open your webinar by introducing you to the participating crew members. Our Events Team offers each facilitator to conduct a test run with our software Webinarjam ahead of the webinar.

CARIBBEAN CREWFEST 14th - 17th January Yacht Haven Grande St Thomas, USVI
The 5th edition of the Caribbean Crewfest sees a new home: Yacht Haven Grande in St Thomas. ACREW has partnered with IGY Marinas to create an event that will be a luxurious and learning experience for yacht captains and crew. The attending superyachts will have the opportunity to explore the destination, learn from industry experts, network with peers and participate in the Crewfest Games.

PORTO MONTENEGRO & ACREW WINTER GAMES 7th - 9th February Kolasin Montenegro
ACREW has partnered with Porto Montenegro and Red Bull to create an event that will be a luxurious learning experience for yacht captains and crew. The attending superyachts will have the opportunity to explore the destination, learn from industry experts, network with peers and participate in the Superyacht Winter Games. PTW SHIPYARD & PORT TARRACO SUPERYACHT CREW EVENT 5th - 6th March PTW Shipyard Tarragona
ACREW will be hosting a Superyacht Crew Event in the PTW Shipyard & Port Tarraco in Tarragona. This event offers the special opportunity of knowledge exchange with industry professionals in up to 14 workshops, networking with like-minded people and enjoying a program with corporate activities. In addition to that, there will be drinks with live music in the evening and a tasty BBQ on the docks of PTW Shipyard.

ASTILLEROS SUPERYACHT CREW EVENT 23rd - 24th April Astilleros de Mallorca Palma de Mallorca
Mallorca’s premier shipyard Astilleros de Mallorca will once again host an ACREW event to celebrate the beginning of the Med season. The two day event provides businesses with the opportunity to host workshops in and around the award winning shipyard and to share lunches and happy hours with crew. This comprehensive experience is not only for the crew in Astilleros but also for crew from all the surrounding marinas. During the last Astilleros event we could welcome more than 150 workshop attendees, what we follow to outperform in April 2020.

“My partner Liz Brasler who is a Chief Mate and I attended a number of your workshops. As a Head Chef I was unaware of the advantages of having someone like MedAire onboard and the support they give the crew in time of medical emergency. The lifeguard workshop showed me that in water rescue is not as straightforward as it may seem and that cross training in crew where possible is essential. The Caviar workshop was very informative and it was fascinating to hear the groups thoughts on pairing options with different wines and vodkas. Overall the entire experience was informative, educational and fun. We look forward to the next event held in Palma.”

The Crew Awards by ACREW is the only international, impartial awards programme to recognise the excellence in superyacht crew. In 2019 ACREW received over 400 nominations and 25,000 online votes. The 2020 ceremony will welcome 300 Captains and Crew and 200 ACREW Business Members to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the best crew in our industry.

A new season and another Astilleros Superyacht Crew Event in Palma de Mallorca! The two day event provides businesses with the opportunity to host workshops in and around the award winning shipyard and to share lunches and happy hours with crew.
