The Crew Awards have been developed to reward crew that have proven themselves to be the very best at their job. It is a globally recognised event, known for its integrity and glamour and the only awards competition that truly honours Superyacht Crew for their hard work and dedication to the industry. The Awards is both a personal achievement and an industry-wide recognition of professional excellence.

Fellow Captains and Crew within the industry have voted for the finalists of this year’s Crew Awards along with our judging panel compromised of former and current Senior Crew and Industry Professionals. There are 60 finalists spread across 20 different award categories that aim to reward all the departments onboard for their efforts and dedication to the Superyacht Industry.

The Captain (Master Unlimited) Crew Award recognizes a Captain who has been proven to ensure the safety onboard and moves with the times to tackle new challenges such as cyber security. CREW AWARD

Captain (Master 500GT) Crew Award recognizes the achievements of a hands-on Captain who is experienced in working closely with Crew. Managing the budget, ensuring the safety onboard as well as communicating competently are part of their day-to-day role. This Captain holds responsibilities across all operational areas and is the direct line of communication for all boat related matters.

Marina Casa de Campo is a private and independent marina fully equipped with unsurpassed modern amenities. Moreover, La Marina’s area expands over more than 90,000 m² and holds 350 slips ranging from 30 to 250ft for private & transient yachts. Crew Award is for an Engineer who demonstrates excellent skills in mechanical and electrical operations and is also capable of assisting the crew and guests with technical requests. The Engineer or ETO stays calm in docking and anchoring situations and displays solution focus and innovation. Apart from the extensive technical knowledge required of a yacht’s engine room and machines, the Engineer or ETO has the guest spirit and helps support the guests and owners proactively with troubleshooting devices onboard.

The award will be presented to someone who contributes to the safety and/or guest experience onboard thanks to their drive to keep learning and developing themselves.
