Bulldog Family, As we begin a new year of school and athletic events, it is truly an exciting time to be a part of the Bulldog family. As a school district. We are able to provide many athletic opportunities for our students. The support of our families and community is important to create these opportunities. As a district we currently offer football, volleyball, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls golf (AHS only), boys and girls tennis (AHS only), cross country, boys and girls basketball, wrestling, swimming (AHS only), baseball, softball, and track & field. Our hope is that a great number of students take advantage of these opportunities. Interscholastic athletics are not simply extracurricular activities but provide a learning environment that prepares our students to be productive and successful adults. While we set goals to succeed on the field or court, our purpose is to develop young men and women to prepare them for life beyond the walls of Athens High School. Thank you for your support of our student-athletes, trainers, and coaches. As always, go Bulldogs!
