The Woodburn Fire District (WFD) provides fire suppression, fire prevention services and emergency medical assistance to residents located within its 75-square-mile boundary. The boundary includes the city of Woodburn, the city of Gervais and a large area of unincorporated northern Marion County. What we do: We respond to emergencies in the Woodburn Fire District. We also do public education and fire prevention. What are the basic education requirements for the job? Need high school diploma and drivers license. Training through college or provided by your fire department. Are there any other required skills? Good customer service. Great communication skills. Critical thinking. Work well in a team. What is the schedule like for the specific job? 24 hours on duty. 48 hours off duty. What is the best thing about the job?
