Final checks before the inspection

For most people, your home will be open for inspection while you’re still living there. Your furniture and belongings will be around the house during viewings and home opens, so this is a perfect time for a spring clean and really go through cupboards and drawers. Be smart about what you need to take with you when you move house, and once you’ve completed a thorough cleanout you’ll find that you have new places to keep what remains in order while you still call this home ‘home’. The less cluttered a home looks the more likely it is to sell.

Inspections are a major part of selling your property as it is how potential new owners can get a feel for the home and a great way for you to showcase all that your property has to offer. You probably know the basics of preparing your home for inspection ensuring it is as clean and tidy as possible with a big focus on presentation, and making sure that visitors feel welcome – as if this home could be theirs one day. So, how do you spruce things up a little for spring? Get your garden in order We all know that Spring is when flowers and plants start to bloom in a big way.
