Meet the Systems Development team

The Systems Development team are responsible for the development and maintenance of both in-house and third-party solutions to ensure the effective, smooth running of the business. This includes everything from large systems such as Vision and OneFile to smaller one-off projects to provide essential business data.

The team can be approached with any ideas you may have for the use of digital systems, to make the work process easier and more effective. Please email systemsdevelopment@ acttraining.org.uk.

Simon Barrett Digital Development Manager

Managing the Systems Development team. An experience both as a developer of many years and also a qualified teacher. Rachel Davidson Digital Implementation Officer

Supporting in the identification and implementation of digital tools and systems to enhance learning experience and programme efficiency, as well as delivering relevant training sessions to staff. Occasional website builder and support ticket answerer.

Stephen Banbury Systems Developer

Responsible for the design, development and implementation of core internal software systems, such as Vision 2.

Raven Bennett Software Developer

Writing and maintaining code that helps keep Vision 2 improving and bug free, as well as working on new software solutions. Jasmine Hopwood Digital Support Administrator

Providing general support for members of staff with day-to-day system queries, as well as assisting with creation and updating of processes within ACT’s databases.

Samuel Kirkby Digital Support Administrator

Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of digital systems to assist with data processing in line with ACT procedures, as well as delivering support and training to staff related to systems and application processes.
