Tabasco Jelly Belly jelly beans Target Audience:
In this advertising campaign, I would really like to target not only pre-existing customers of Tabasco, but also people who see themselves as risktakers.
Instagram Activity:
We will ask consumers to take creative pictures of where they like to eat Tabasco Jelly Belly jelly beans. These pictures would then be posted on Instagram with the hashtag #BoldJellyBeans. After a certain amount of time, all the participants will be entered in a drawing and whoever is drawn, will receive bags of jelly beans for six months. Whoever submits the most creative picture will receive a different product of Tabasco each month.
Twitter Activity:
We want to challenge our customers to be daring and adventurous. On Twitter, we want consumers to submit pictures of them doing daring or adventurous things and using the hashtag #BoldJellyBeans. The submitted photos will be entered into another drawing and top 5 winners will each receive a onepound bag of Tabasco Jelly Belly jelly beans.
Advertising:
For advertising, Jelly Belly will publish commercials and videos on television and Youtube featuring people doing brave and bold activities, like skydiving, paragliding, skateboarding, and bungee-jumping. Through this, we want to encourage to take ahold of life and be adventurous. Our Tabasco jelly beans can be seen as bold because they are not the everyday jelly beans that other people eat.
