A Personal Note from the Desk of Ward Hale, AP There are many wonderful choices in the complementary medicine marketplace. Many modalities that come along side to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. Because there are so many choices sometimes it is not always easy to determine which therapy or modality is best for you. In my practice, I do my best to assist you in making the best choices possible as far as products and services available to you. The tools I presently use in my own practice reflect a 30 yr journey. I have been influenced by both European and American naturopathic medicine, various kinesiology systems and nutritional teachers. Also, I was fortunate enough to have attended an acupuncture school that taught in a unique way the â&#x20AC;&#x2022;body, mind, spiritâ&#x20AC;&#x2013; aspects of the inner tradition of acupuncture. My journey began as a health food store owner in rural Appalachia 30 yrs ago and I have since been led in many synergistic and diverse paths in the field of holistic medicine. As you look through this booklet I would ask that you not be overwhelmed by the many choices. The most important lesson I have learned as a practitioner over the years is that simplicity is always the preferred method of therapeutic intervention. Clarity and simplicity of the therapeutic approach is what I desire to offer. It is precisely because I use many tools in my practice that I can offer you simple and effective solutions.
