Gillette A. Elvgren AND PIN-UP GIRL Gil Elvgren was a great pin-up artist and a master storyteller in 1930s ,US. Born in St.Paul, Minnesota, Gillette A. Elvgren attended University High School. After graduation he began studying art at the Minneapolis Art Institute.
A PICTURE IS WORTH ONE THOUSAND WORD
In 1937, Gil began painting calendar pin-ups for Louis F. Dow, one of America's leading publishing companies. These pin ups are easily recognizable because they are signed with a printed version of Elvgren's name, as opposed to his later cursive signature. Dow paintings were often published first in one format, then painted over with different clothes and situations. These 'new' paintings were then republished and distributed to an unsuspecting public.

The history of the Ray-Ban Aviator dates back to the 1920s, when new airplanes allowed people to fly higher and farther. Many US Army Air Service pilots were reporting that the glare from the sun was giving them headaches and altitude sickness. In 1929, US Army Air Corps Lieutenant General John MacCready asked Bausch & Lomb, a Rochester, New Yorkbased medical equipment manufacturer, to create aviation sunglasses that would reduce the headaches and nausea experienced by pilots, which are caused by the intense blue and white hues of the sky,a new kind of glasses were introduced. The prototype, created in 1936 and known as ‘Anti-Glare’, had plastic frames and green lenses that could cut out the glare without obscuring vision. The sunglasses were remodeled with a metal frame the following year and rebranded as the 'Ray-Ban Aviator'. On May 7, 1937, Bausch & Lomb took out the patent, and the Aviator was born.

co-founders of VEPTEC, said it meant a great deal that consumers had voted for VEPTEC as their electronic cigarette of choice. "This shows that product quality is becoming increasingly important as the market continues to develop." "In a category where brand loyalty and intimacy iss till lacking and the market place is very crowded, this is a massive vote of confidence for VEPTC 'the brand'.
VEPTEC was crowned "Best Electronic Cigarette" brand at the recent Consumer.

HARLEY DAVIDSON on the road
From 1977 to 2014, the only motorcycles sold to the public under the Harley-Davidson brand have been heavyweight motorcycles, with engine displacements greater than 700 cc, designed for cruising on highways. Harley-Davidson motorcycles, or "Harleys", are noted for the tradition of heavy customization that gave rise to the chopper style of motorcycle. Except for the modern VRSC & Street model families, current Harley-Davidson motorcycles reflect the styles of classic Harley designs. While Harley-Davidson's attempts to establish itself in the light motorcycle market have met little success, and have largely been abandoned since the 1978 sale of its Italian Aermacchi subsidiary, the company re-entered the middleweight market in 2014 with its Street series of motorcycles.

"Her attention to detail and embellished glitz onstage is unparalleled, even for pop stars. From the sparkle of each and every Swarovski crystal to the sensual lighting that caresses her slender porcelain frame to the vampy music that sets the mood for the procession of themed vignettes ... your eye cannot turn away from the utter flawlessness of it all." ------Lina Lecaro
