The principles of warm-up, cool-down & stretching will also be explained. Meeting at the Gymnasium. HIIT: High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a type of cardio training in which you alternate short, very high intensity intervals with longer, slower intervals to recover. Yoga: Mat work yoga is an accessible all-levels class ideal for yogis who want to ease into Pilates while staying with a yoga practice. Enjoying the best of both worlds, we explore the precision and control required in the Pilates method, laying a foundation for advancing our practice and building the core strength that inevitably follows, and finding calmness in asanas that can enhance the exercises. Modifications and easier versions of exercises are always available as first timers and beginners welcome. Meeting at the sports court. Boot Camp: Our Boot-camps are designed for MAXIMUM calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind, challenge your body, and most importantly MAKE FITNESS FUN! First timers and beginners welcome. Designed for all fitness levels. Meeting at the sports court. Circuit Class: Circuit training is a fast-paced class in which you do one exercise for 30 seconds to 5 minutes and then move on to another exercise. It’s like a game of musical chairs: Everyone begins at a station , and when the instructor yells “Time!” everyone moves to the next free station. Some classes alternate an aerobic activity (like stepping or stationary cycling) with a muscle-strengthening activity (like using weight machines). Others focus exclusively on muscle toning or aerobic exercise. First timers and beginners welcome. Designed for all fitness levels. Meeting at the sport courts. Social Soccer: Where you can come with your team or alone and be included in a team and play soccer for 45 minutes to burn calories and have fun, socialise and make new friends. Meeting at the sports court. Health Workshop: Health workshop is a seminar on topics like Nutrition/Metabolism/Overall health/Detoxification/ Exercise. It is 30 minutes to 45 minutes in length, held in the Rec room. Pool Competition: Sign up on the day with the HLC or Reception.
