A dual function workstation following the laws of Feng Shui, provides an organic solution to increasing concentration. Using OLED lighting to combine mood lighting and time boxing ensures highest level of productivity. . .

COURS workstation Taking a unique form following the laws of Feng Shui and traditional Japanese architecture, the Cours workstation encourages proper posture and productivity. Redefining workplaces with OLED time boxing and mood lighting, users can stay focused between two seats, whilst experiencing an alfresco medium.

In the attempt to phase the creative work of Stack and Calatrava, an architectural Jardinière was created. The contemporary shape with pods for life to seed, builds an intriguing object of desire.

Poste has the ability to be collapsed and stored in less than a minute.

Poste is compliant with the laws of Badminton set by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), with the option of reducing the size to suit younger aspiring athletes. Poste reduces the weight of existing products by a minimum of 30%. With the additional attribute of low cost storage and transport, Poste becomes the sustainable solution to this aging issue.


Combining Japanese culture with modern socialising environments. Line seating provides a low cost, no maintenance necessary, comfortable product.

Concept: Creating a new product from an existing object. Eliminating the purpose of carrying an extra object when travelling to or from shopping.

A luxury exterior with a durable structure allows Sieze to keep a valid form and maintain a capacity of 10 litres. Within 4 simple steps an everyday satchel erects into a wheeled business like holdall.

Manipulation of steel in a conduit fashion allows a new style of furnishing come to life. Creation of a severe contrast between traditional furnishing and more modernness styles, the Cond kitchen range provide a new fashion to formal dining choices.

One week project


Employed as a technical designer and account manager, the job entailied working alongside a range of architects, interior designs and contractors in order to create purely bespoke staircase designs. Using a variety of software from Staircon to AutoCAD intriguing and original designs were accomplished within and without of current building regulations. Once designs were complete I was also part of the programming team in order to create manufacture ready programs for CNC’s to cut all parts ready for assembly before delivery to the client. Working throughout from initial CAD all the way to CAM and assembly.

An industrial designer who enjoys all disciplines of design. Having just obtained a distinction in MA “Future Design / Design Futures” an array of online features have been obtained, alongside a new portfolio.

Experienced user of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Solidworks. Valid experience in 3DS Max, Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Studio

Work Experience

Background Born in Stoke on Trent, I was always a creative individual. This led me to study Industrial Design at Manchester Metropolitan University. Between working in America and UK, I became interested in education. This led me to apply for a PGCE. All appeared well - until I realised I hadn’t designed for over 3 months. Having never quit anything ever before I completed the course, with job offers from both placements. This encouraged me to complete an MA in my area of expertise, leading me to this exciting point in my career.

AVC StairBox (Dec 2012 - Present)

CAD Engineer with the UK’s most popular staircase manufacturing company. Working alongside architects and live cliental on a day to day basis, designing bespoke staircases through CAD visualisation, engineer drawings and programming CAM.
