Fully traceable & block chain verification by AWARE™ How can you be sure that the sustainability claims we make are trustable? We aim to avoid greenwashing and prove that final products are made from sustainable materials. Therefore we teamed up with Aware™, a traceability platform that makes data public to track and validate the end-to-end impact of sustainable textiles from origin to you. Powered by tracer and blockchain technologies.
Digital Product Passport (DPP) All Iqoniq products have an Aware™ Virtual ID that gives you complete transparency and the facts of your sustainable choices. The Aware™ blockchain application is making trusted impact data public and available for final consumers with a simple scan of a QR code. The data is directly from the makers of the products, the producers. All impact data and the complete journey of each garment are given. Goodbye, murky claims. Hello, crystal clear impact facts!

OEKO-TEX® OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. Cutting waste used in our fabrics is not certified. That is why we have all our fabric components tested by an OEKO-TEX® authorised laboratory for harmful substances. Every Iqoniq article is OEKO-TEX® certified, harmless to human health.
Made responsibly As part of our continuous effort to improve working conditions in the supply chain, we ensure all our Iqoniq products are manufactured in production facilities with a valid social audit according to the amfori BSCI auditing framework and Code of Conduct. This framework upholds strict social standards in line with international conventions like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Labour Organization (ILO).
Water.org Water.org is a global non-profit organization working to bring water and sanitation to the world. Water.org believes water is the best investment the world can make to improve health, empower women, enable access to education, increase family income and change lives. Yet, 771 million people lack access to safe water. We support water.org by donating 2% of product proceeds of each product sold from the Iqoniq collection.
Our colours Colour can play a major role in consumer decision-making. The Iqoniq colours exists of a wide range with three different types of appealing colours: undyed heather colours, essential dyed colours and seasonal colours. For our heather colours we have eliminated the dyeing process. The recycled cotton in its existing colour is blended with virgin organic cotton, which creates the beautiful heather mélange effect. Using recycled cotton already saves precious resources, but with the undyed styles, the savings are even greater. The essential dyed colours are the perfect basics – for any day, anywhere. The seasonal colours are trend colours. Striking colours which immediately attract everyone’s attention. Explore the diverse Iqoniq colour palette.

We stand to our values and follow our sustainable story till the very end customer In house we only decorate with the following 3 low-impact decoration techniques. The inks used in those techniques hold an OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT.
1) Digital Transfer: Digital Transfer is the most suitable decoration that allows any type of picture to be printed on a foil and heat pressed on to the garment.
2) Screen transfer: Screen Transfer is similar technique as Digital Transfer where the image is transferred on the foil using screen printing.
3) Embroidery: Remains the most noble decoration technique that can enhance your product to become a real piece of art!
Combination of heat press and embroidery is possible and gives to the garment a valuable 3D effect.

Utopic recycled Why 100% recycled?
Choosing recycled materials is essential to reduce our impact on the environment and is one of the most effective solutions to address the growing amount of waste globally. Utopic items in the Recycled section are made from 100% recycled materials. By mixing recycled cotton with recycled polyester, we wanted to create a fabric that combines the best performance properties of both fibers: cotton is a highly breathable material, while polyester is a durable and resistant fiber1. In this way, we were able to ensure, through the use of recycled materials, the reduction of our environmental impact2 and, through the blend of fibers, durable and high-quality materials.

Recycled cotton Recycled cotton can be generally defined as converting cotton fabric into cotton fiber that can be reused in textile products. The majority of recycled cotton is produced through mechanical recycling: fabrics and materials are sorted and classified; after sorting, the fabrics pass through a machine that tears the fabric into threads and subsequently transforms them into raw fiber. In 2021, the market share of recycled cotton represented only 1% of total cotton production4; by choosing to use it, we want to promote its expansion in the market.

Recycled polyester Polyester (PET is the most widely used fiber in the apparel industry, accounting for approximately 52% of the total volume of fibers produced globally. Currently, only 14% of this is made from recycled content, even if recycled polyester has a significantly lower carbon footprint than its conventional counterpart. To keep the industry on track toward its climate targets, Textile Exchange has launched the “2025 Recycled Polyester Challenge”, which has a long-term vision of bringing the percentage of recycled polyester up to 90% by 2030.7.

Utopic organic Why organic cotton?
Organic cotton is obtained from a type of cultivation that does not involve the use of artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides. Organic farming systems have the potential to sustain and promote the health of soils, ecosystems, and people by relying on ecological processes, biodiversity, and cycles that are adapted to local conditions, rather than using external inputs that could have adverse effects on the environment and on people10. The fabric, therefore, has the same quality as conventional cotton but the impact on the environment is much lower11.
