The Radical Architectura of Little Magazines 196X-197X La aparición de un gran número de pequeñas revistas de arquitectura en los años sesenta y setenta impulsó una transformación radical en la cultura arquitectónica, ya que estas publicaciones actuaban como foco de debate e innovación. Clip/Stamp/Fold da cuenta de setenta pequeñas revistas de este período, publicadas en más de una docena de ciudades. El término “pequeña revista”, encunado a principios del siglo XX para designar a las publicaciones literarias progresistas, volvió a circular en los años sesenta para referirse a la proliferación de revistas independientes de arquitectura. Los términos “pequeña” y “revista” no se han de tomar en sentido literal. Objectos vivos, juegos sociales/Un juego en un lugar En el Taller Vertical 2008 el lugar fue el centro de reflexión; el lugar entendido como el tablero de juego pero también como espacio donde se desarrollaba la acción. Este Taller se convirtió en un gran espacio donde experimentar con la geometría y las relaciones espaciales. Además, convertimos la escuela en un enorme taller de maquetas a escala 1:1, ya que se pidió a los estudiantes que desarrollaran las propuestas hasta tener un ejemplar perfectamente acabado del juego. En el Taller Vertical 2009 la atención se centró en la sociabilidad, es decir, en los vínculos o relaciones que se establecen entre personas mediante el juego. Se pidió a los estudiantes que explicaran su propuesta mediante un vídeo de 3-4 minutos. La sociabilidad del juego, con sus reglas y objetivos, tenía que mostrarse en un formato nuevo para la mayoría de estudiantes, lo que les obligó a pensar el juego, también, en función del soporte explicativo, el vídeo, hasta convertirlo, en muchos casos, en un elemento más de la propuesta..

Cold America: Geometric Abstraction in Latin America (19341973) This publication documents Cold America, an exhibition (Fundación Juan March, Madrid, February - May, 2011) which expressly and systematically maps the complex and fragmented history of geometric abstraction in Latin America. The resulting map seeks to reveal not only the influence of Old World traditions on Latin American abstract artists but also their decisive break with that tradition: the rebirth of, and distinct character assumed by, geometric abstraction in Argentina, Brazil, Columbia, Cuba, Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela. This project's timeframe begins in 1934, with Joaquin Torres-Garcia's definitive return to Montevideo after more than four decades in Europe, and ends in 1973 with Jesus Rafael Soto's journey from Europe to his hometown of Ciudad Bolívar to inaugurate the museum designed by Carlos Raul Villanueva that bears his name. That year would also see the passing of Waldemar Cordeiro and Ivan Serpa, the Brazilian founders of the groups Ruptura and Frente.

O que, à primeira vista, parecem ser casas individuais são na realidade edifícios de dois, quatro ou seis apartamentos, articulados por uma cave comum, destinada a estacionamento. The author Rudolf Finsterwalder worked from 1994 to 1996 with Alvaro Siza in Porto and has therefore a unique insight into Siza works and archives. Wilfried Wang was 1995-2000 director of the German Architecture Museum.
