This portfolio layout is controlled through Adobe InDesign.

Challenges

Artificial Intelligence is marching into human civilization faster than anyone would expect. Architecture and urbanism are unavoidable from it. Future architects have to prepare ourselves, fast and well.

The author choose to learn the enemy before fight, trying to get architectural skills trained in the frontier of architecture automation. Cutting edge techniques are experimented and aesthetics are challenged under the inquiry of what a silicon based intelligence might perform with a series of design tasks. A silicon based intelligence looks for tidiness, organization and unambiguity, meanwhile controversially relying on randomness. So does the works in this portfolio.

4 In this collaboration, author was in charge of facade design, structure design, landscape design, line works render, program distribution, digital model management and physical model crafting. Author was highly involved in producing the following drawings: System Chunk, Program, South West Isometric View, West Elevation, Overview Plan. This generative work flow of schemes was constructed by author, under the supervision of Devyn Weiser during summer 2017, for studio and visual study course syllabus.
