Welcome to Carter Angus Farms Annual Production Sale! This year’s sale offering is one of our biggest and deepest set of bulls and heifers we have ever offered. We’ve worked hard to provide you with cattle that have phenotype, genomics and performance to take your herd to the next level. Whether you are looking for a new herd bull or heifer, we feel there is something that will fit even the pickiest cattleman or woman out there.

It doesn’t take long looking at these feeder calf markets to get excited for what is coming down the pike for our commercial cow/calf producers. With reports of calves bringing $2.25 plus for a 6 weight steer or a 7 weight steer bringing up to a $1.94, genetics have never been more important than they are today. Whether you sell your calves at weaning or take your calves into the feed yard to finish, I think this set up of bulls is definitely right for the times. Cattle that come easy and grow fast have never been more important than they are today with our input costs. Also this year we were fortunate to be able to buy into the Idland Cattle cow herd. You will find tremendous amount of cow power in these cows with the different cow families in the Lady, Barbara K, and Forever Lady. To say that there are foundation females in the heifer division would be a complete understatement.

There are also a couple of guest consignments by some our good friends, Myles Nielson, Harry Hawley, Brian Hermelbracht, and Chris Thorson. They’ve brought a diverse set of Angus, Simmental and Maine influenced genetics to improve your herd.
