For two days and nights, the Ada Ryan Gardens will come alive with circus, music, cabaret and more for the City of Whyalla's first uneARTh festival. The inaugural program is bursting with local talent and touring Fringe artists, with everything from circus, music, cabaret, visual art and more. Head down to the Ada Ryan Gardens for this exciting new event, and get ready for an incredible Easter long weekend packed with entertainment!

Sam McMahon and Eloise Green, AKA Eli will be your official MCs for the uneARTh Festival. They will keep you up to speed on what's happening throughout the day, as well as providing some comical entertainment. With various costume changes, and plenty of surprises, Sam and Eli will keep the fun coming on Friday and Saturday for uneARTh Festival.

If you’re a lover of cabaret, you’ll love what Anya Anastasia has in store for us. Anya Anastasia, a sassy cabaret chanteuse with a vivid and somewhat twisted imagination, will bring to Whyalla her acclaimed show, TORTE E MORT. TORTE E MORT unashamedly celebrates the extremes of the psyche and humanity, leaving the audience to work out which was a warning and which was an invitation to indulge in extreme behaviour. Note: Those interested in participating in the ukulele workshops are asked to bring their own ukulele.

Cabaret comrades Michael Griffiths and Amelia Ryan are teaming up to bring their cabaret show Livvie & Pete to Whyalla. Personifying Olivia Newton-John and flamboyant singer/songwriter Peter Allen, Amelia and Michael bring new life to the songbooks of some two of Australia’s favourite Aussie icons. With all the theatrics you’d expect from Oliva Newton-John and Peter Allen, Livvie & Pete is a show not to be missed.

Time In Space with have you ‘ooh-ing’ and ‘ahh-ing’ as the acrobats explore the limits and possibilities of the human body physically and mentally, incorporating music that influences the way they move, think and feel. With a spectacular display of raw passion and innovative risks comes a show that is constantly growing and performing worldwide to many different types of audiences. Time In Space bring a fresh approach to circus by fusing together art forms from tricking, dance, group acrobatics and juggling into an experimental circus show.

Eleven-piece super band Motown Connection will have you on your feet dancing to all of the best soul classics from the greatest soul artists of all time. From Otis Redding, James Brown, Al Green, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Sam & Dave, Wilson Pickett and much more, Motown Connection’s 11 piece powerhouse superband will have you dancing all night long.

The Doogans are on their way to Whyalla, bringing with them an exciting showcase of five star entertainment for the whole family! Quirky, utterly stupid but nevertheless brilliantly clever, sassy cigar box Queen, Pandora Pink joins forces with comic juggling genius Mr. Spin to make up dynamic duo, The Doogans. The Doogans will bring with them a dynamic pace, mixed up with quirky improvised chitchat, quick fire magic tricks and phenomenal circus skill.

Who doesn’t love a little bit of spice, and that’s just what the Three Amigos Plus One Mexican Mariachi Band will bring when they visit Whyalla. The Three Amigos Plus One will bring their Mexican mariachi music, fun and interactive show to the stage, as well as providing roving entertainment to knock your sombrero off. Performing classic Latin turns like ‘Tequila’, ‘ La Cucaracha’, ‘La Bamba’ and ‘Guantanamera’, you’ll think you’ve been transported to Latin-America.

uneARTh Festival will have something for everyone, but the kids will especially love Mr Oopy, who brings his exciting, dynamic and entertaining children’s show to Whyalla as part of uneARTh Festival. Mr Oopy is a real kid at heart; he loves being silly and clowns around to make both kids and adults laugh. Mr Oopy brings so much more than just fun to the show; imagine a clown, a circus, a sportsman, a teacher, a dancer, a gymnast and a musician all in one and you’ve got Mr Oopy!

FLAMING SAMBUCAS Band and ABBA tribute show Saturday, April 15 8.40pm uneARTh main stage
The Flaming Sambucas Band will have you on your feet and dancing up a storm as they cover all of your favourite ABBA tracks as part of their ABBA tribute show. With authentic costuming and music, the Flaming Sambucas perform all the greatest hits of the famous '70s Swedish supergroup, with a little help from the audience. The Flaming Sambucas will bring to Whyalla their enormous repertoire covering the generations, from the Motown era all the way to current songs of Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

You’ve probably seen JackDaw around the traps if you’re a regular at any of Whyalla’s local pubs, but you’re about to see them like never before. With a blend of the best in musical history, fresh dynamics and a smooth mix of harmonies, JackDaw presents a high energy show full of the songs that helped shape the world we know today. JackDaw will cover a mash up of all your favourite '80s and '90s hits that will have you on your feet all night long.

Fifteen-year-old Jack Spurling has been gracing Whyalla’s stages for many years now, Jack’s silky vocal tone coupled with his impressive rhythmic percussive tapping and picking guitar playing style will have you mesmerised and wanting more. Jack will bring to uneARTh Festival an array of impressive mash-ups as well as some of his very own material.

At just 17, Emily is one of Whyalla’s up and coming local talents. Emily is an exciting addition to the Whyalla music scene, having earned the respect and support of musos across the city. Backed by local musician Colby Krawcyzk from popular local band JackDaw, Emily will put her unique voice to work by transforming into a soul sister for one night only.

Playing a mixture of old and new, classic hits and contemporary indie gems Riley Nicholas is a solo acoustic musician playing the songs you love and know and perhaps introducing you to something new. With a love of bringing people together through the magical medium that is music, you're sure to have a chilled afternoon absorbing the vibes as the afternoon sun descends into the night.
DAVIDE MARINO Button accordion performance Saturday, April 15 6.30pm uneARTh main stage
Davide Marino is a teacher by day, but over the Easter long weekend, he will transform into an accordion playing superstar. Davide will bring a unique flare to uneARTh Festival, performing a medley of songs on his antique button accordion that are sure to have you mesmerised right up until the final note.

Whyalla Ballet School will showcase many of its talented students over the Easter Long Weekend in various performances, from roaming acts to dance pieces presented on the main stage. You’ll be treated to an animal parade featuring the school’s youngest students, a piece presented by more experienced dancers on the main stage, roaming tap dancers, and special interactive workshops with the students themselves.

Namaste Whyalla will bring an ethnic flare to uneARTh Festival, showcasing their Bollywood and Fusion dances. If you’ve ever wanted to give Bollywood dancing a go, this is your chance. Namaste Whyalla will hold a workshops throughout the second day of the festival, as well as showcasing their talents on the stage in a flash of colour and energy.

POP Pilates is a total body, equipment-free workout that focuses on developing the core. POP Pilates combines regular pilates with fun choreographed routines that are sure to get you loosened up for a big weekend of activity at Whyalla's first uneARTh Festival.

Popular powerhouse due Hey Jude will be rocking out to all of your favourite ‘80s hits. Local musicians Graeme ‘Red’ Stephenson, and Judith Lawrie make up the dynamic Hey Jude, and will you on your feet with their up-tempo dance tracks.
CATELINE SMITH Hip hop dancing Saturday, April 15 3.30pm uneARTh main stage
Local hip-hop dancer Cateline Smith will ‘Get Up’ for uneARTh Festival, when she performers her solo piece on the mainstage. With more than 10 years’ experience in hip-hop dancing, Cateline has danced at many local events, and is ready to showcase her talent at uneARTh Festival.
D'FACES OF YOUTH ARTS Clowning activities Saturday, April 15 12.30pm, 6.15pm Workshop space
Local youth arts company, D'faces of Youth Arts will offer workshops and performances and invites you to join them to try your hand at various performance tricks or enjoy the mayhem that ensues with clowns, actors and dancers on the workshop stage in The Chthonic Circus.
JASMINE MODER Country music Saturday, April 15 5pm uneARTh main stage
Solo singer/guitarist Jasmine Moder will be bringing all of your favourite country tunes to uneARTh Festival. In her short performing career, Jasmine has fronted many local performances, having picked up her impressive guitar playing skills in only two years. Jasmine will have you tapping along to the likes of the Taylor Swift, Twenty One Pilots, and many more.

Hum and Strum will have you bopping along to their catchy, feel-good tunes in no time. Hum and Strum originated from the local University of the Third Age, with all members strumming their first chord on the ukulele only two years ago. Hum and Strum will perform a range of catchy tunes that are sure to have you tapping your foot to the beat.

The Wondering Minstrals will have you mesmerised by their beautiful sound. Together, Bella Bishop, Emilson Lim and Matthew Steenson make up the trio of harmonising musicians. Catch the Wondering Minstrals as they take to the stage for uneARTh Festival on Saturday, April 15.

If you’re a fan of James Arthur, then you’ll love what Natalia Lock has in store for us. Fourteen-year-old Natalia has been singing with Stormfront Productions for a number of years, developing her skills as a singer through various performances and regular training.
