100 DA DA PROJECT
CONCEPT: ADELA MUNTEAN & LILLA Vテ,ZI
DADA 100 PROJECT APPLICATION using WORLD WAR I. PHOTOS and NEWSPAPERS (collage, cut-up technique, photomontage, assemblage, readymades) The advent of World War I (1914-1918) greatly influenced the emergence of new artistic movements that started as a reaction to the horrors of the conflict: Futurism, New Objectivity, Dadaism, Surrealism, Bauhaus. In 2016, Dada turns 100. From Z端rich to New York national and international culture and arts institutions participate actively in the jubilee. Europeana joins the network through releasing the DADA100 app which uses the World War I. imagery and newspaper collection. Participants create their collages and submit them to a project website. Finally all the works will be exhibited on Times Square Arts video billboards. Dada is local, Dada is global, Dada is universal. The Dadaist movement and its loose network of artists spread across Europe: Z端rich, Berlin, Cologne, Paris, Netherlands, Georgia, Yugoslavia, Italy, Tokyo. As many of the European Dadaists had emigrated to the United States, New York City became a refuge for writers and artists from the First World War. (New York was also becoming the primary center of Dada in the United States.)
DADA 100 PROJECT EUROPEANA + TIMES SQAURE ARTS Times Square Arts, the public art program of the Times Square Alliance, is the largest public platform for innovative contemporary performance and visual arts. This project can be realized inside a museum where we invite the visitor into a panorama rotunda. A circular screen marks the boundary of the virtual reality environment where the function of the faux terrain is to blur the boundary between the real space and the space of the illusion and in which the visitor navigates by browsing war scenes and by placing them into the landscape they find out different stories. CABINET of CURIOSITIES PROJECT
CONCEPT: ADELA MUNTEAN & LILLA Vテ,ZI
CABINET of CURIOSITIES (Kunstkabinett, Kunstkammer, Wunderkammer, Cabinets of Wonder, and wonder-rooms) „The Kunstkammer was regarded as a microcosm or theater of the world, and a memory theater.” The concept of creating a Wunderkammer (wonder room) comes hand in hand with the fact that Europeana holds many digitized images of objects. Every visitor can create his own “cabinet of curiosities” depending on what he puts in his collection. The project again can be an app or website or the visitors can collect their object during their visit at the museum by photographing the objects and then arranging them into a cabinet. The final result can be shared on social networks.

VIDEOS & SOUNDS PROJECT
CONCEPT: ADELA MUNTEAN & LILLA Vテ,ZI
VIDEOS & SOUND PROJECT VIDEOS The World War I. videos could be edited and projected during music concerts similarly like silent movies. SOUNDS Blind persons could benefit by using the sound archive to create different stories. An app would allow to save the sounds in a specific order chosen by the participant and accompany his live narration. Of course the sounds could accompany other projects too-like the Panorama and Wunderkammer and the Postcards.
