BIOGRAPHY Ayodeji, born and raised in Nigeria is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Finance and also an MBA in Marketing. A 3-year captain for the collegiate men’s basketball team. He worked with the LA Clippers during the 2016-2017 season as a front office personnel and Player development assistant. He currently serves as The Director of Client Relations for Redwood Wealth Management LLC.

With almost 100 million people living in Nigeria on less than $1 a day, The National Bureau of Statistic said 60.9% of Nigerians are living in “absolute poverty”. This figure has risen from 54.7% in 2004. The lack of basketball courts, balls, apparels and support for kids in Africa is vast. The opportunity to grow the game and provide teaching for kids in Africa is there. We want to provide kids with an avenue to learn the game of basketball and provide them with scholarship opportunities.

STRENGHTS Our strength as a foundation is anchored on the expertise and robust experience that our founder and board members are bringing to the table. Beyond their expertise and robust experience, their network in Africa is also a great strength for the foundation.
OPPORTUNITIRES The opportunities before us as a foundation working towards empowering youths and helping the country reduce crime rates in the society are unlimited. The ability to develop kids and give them the chance to travel abroad to further their talent and dreams is amazing. Because of the cause we have chosen to pursue, we are sure of getting support.
WEAKNESSES Our weakness just like the weakness of most non-profit organization is the ability to attract the best hand in the industry to help us man our key positions. Most non – profit organizations find it difficult to attract, pay and keep experts in their payroll.
THREAT One of the major threats that we stand to face as a non-profit organization is generating the required fund needed to achieve our aims and objectives, recruiting and retaining key and competent employees, as well as managing our financial and human resources. www.ayocharityfoundation.org

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY AYO Charity Foundation was created in Los Angeles California by Ayodeji Egbeyemi. This international organization built on Christian values, aims to promote the total empowerment and development of youths around the world through the game of basketball.
Mission Statement Our mission is to use basketball as a tool to develop, educate and empower the lives of kids around the world. With donations we aspire to provide gear, equipment and opportunities with the objective of growing the game of basketball in Africa. We aim to support underprivileged kids through our clinics, camps and events. Basketball gave Ayodeji Egbeyemi the opportunity to travel outside of Nigeria to pursue his dreams. The same opportunity given to him through basketball is what this charity strives to provide for kids all around the world especially Africa.
