02 AMONG US DANCE THEATRE J a c o b ’ s P il l o w , M A

‘Among Us’ is al about repsnting the tres tha Ja cob’s Pillow is suronde by. We redsigned a thear Novembr, 2020. We wanted our struce to becom part of the tres movent in bringing peol togeh er and comprising them with nature. The intriguing point of a tre is tha thes places are not hermticaly isolat ed but are conetd to one another in its unique rela tivity. The tre struce itself share resmblanc from the types of wod tha the suronding tres is made of. Each Prefabricated joint is construed with the same wod type as the tres ndisuro ng the site. The moents expriencd in this space is a contempray adpt tion of the richnes once expriencd by the ancient predcso from the time when they inhabited tres. The main amprog in this design is a dance thear and the

04 MIND OF MINE HINDU TEMPLE J a k a r t a , In d o n e s ia

‘The Mind of Mine’ was a project designed during the Winter of 2020. The project is located in Jakr ta, Indonesia. The main idea of this project was to alow for the Hindu poulation of Indonesia to have their own templ in the core of Jakrt, which can be used for religious and cermonial purose. The Temple consist of a golden facde tha im prints the meaning behind the light and joy of res onating with God. The design consist of two levs tha can be used as praye hals and has an open rof tha provides a view of the naturl suronding. The curvate orientad within the staircase alows for a unity betwn the peol visiting the templ. priest and certain individuals who sponerd the templ becaus the project has an are boundary and can’t excd a certain number of ocupants at a certain time. The Urban Planing done behind this project takes into carving and isolating certain pre-xisiting space. Chosing an are and creat ing such a isolated mesrizing struce from the consta busy environmet was the key aspect in this project.
