Always wear protective instruments while working with chemicals or loose particles.

Perform cleaning, specialy painting on a space with as low humidity as possible.

Roughen out surfaces with rough grit sandpaper while leveling out bumps or wood imperfections. Remove wood burrs that may have been left out from carpentry.
