The biggest lesson I have received is to keep learning, which is my strength. I have consciously made an effort to always be open to it, to always look into new ways, new alternatives, new methods of study and design. I believe it is absolutely essential, especially in the field of architecture where there is constant evolution of technology and creative spaces. I aim to explore all possibilities in terms of design with any project that comes my way. This not only allows for the best possible outcome, but also facilitates more than one idea to come to play. Deductive thinking I believe is essential to creating new kinds of spaces that meet the requirements of any project and are woven into the fabric of my process. I believe each new project is an opportunity to learn, rediscover and implement new ideas. Every new design will have its own personality and uniqueness, I aim at being able to fully enunciate that.

Ornothology Institution Project Type:Academic Organisation:Dayananda Sagar College of Architecture Year:2019 Project:Campus Design Individual

Proposed plantation and existing plantation

Project Breif Chamrajsagar also is known as T G Halli is located at the confluence of two rivers, 35 km West of Bangalore. The land parcel is 85 acres of land which also consists of a dysfunctional water purifier, the project brief was to design an ornithology Institute with a site area of 15 acres.. A detailed study was carried out on the type of trees, creepers and plants which would attract butterflies and bees which would, in turn, attract the birds.

This land parcel is an optimum choice for an ornithology institution as it is pause point for migrating bird( puttanahlli bird sanctuary (23 km)). The site was selected based on the accessibly, topography, possible usage of present structures 21

Architecture Collage Office Project Type:Academic Organisation:Dayananda Sagar College of Architecture Year:2020 Project: Interior Design Individual

The project brief was intended at redesigning various parts of Dayanand Sagar College of Architecture. Included in this is the office space that comprises the directors room, the conference room, a common seating space for faculty and an office area. Knowing that it is the office of an architectural institution, the essence of the space is to be modified to portray the same. To show that this space unlike any other regular office space is that of a school of architecture, I have made the attempt of using a different material. have used cardboard/corrugated sheets owing to the fact of how unusual the usage of these materials are in any office space.

I In addition to this, my other main materials are cement and wooden flooring. I have also made use of neutral colours like shades of grey and brown along with greenery to bring a sense of calm into the space.

32

Fishermen house Plan

Fishermen house Front Elevation

33

Kampli comprises of various typologies of houses that have been through drastic changes. While an empire emerged from there, the age-old houses still hold on to their roots. The house of the fisherman documented by us, also went through a lot in the 300 years of its existence. What used to be a full built continuous span of a house stands apart as two individual ones now. This reflects the nuclear nature of society which we harvest now. 34

Sitting by the river, it enjoys the view and the fresh breeze, but the rage of Tungabhadra affected the house, because of which the plinth level was raised. One of the most prominent features of these fishermen’s house now turned farmers are it’s tapering walls which could not stand the test of time. Although it is a compact area with magnificent space management instead of the limitations, the skylights aid to the aesthetics of the house.

They allow the passage of good quality natural light instead of providing fenestrations. The material most used is mainly stone which is locally available.

Creativity is individual to every single being and fluid art is one of the many ways to portray it. The process of creating fluid art helps with calming and expression of the mind. I want to bring the fluid art into people’s life. Instead of just talking about it, I decided to add it to the daily use objects and brighten them up with a dash of fluidity
