ACTIVITIES Spaceport Texas - Thesis - Miami University Oxford, Ohio My thesis titled “Outward Bound: Developing Strategies for future of Spaceports” aimed to propose a spaceport to facilitate the mass space travel expected in the next 50-70 years. To design a highly efficient layout for the Spaceport, the Modularity of the Hexagonal structure is explored. The hexagonal form is prominent in the design as it is highly efficient in terms of material used and tessellation properties. The modular aspect of the plan allows Spaceport to expand uniformly as per the future requirements with the growth in industry and influx of traffic. The roof of the Spaceport incorporates Sustainable building technology such as water harvest systems, Tesla solar tiles, Heliostat operated panels to control light, etc.

Softwares used: Rhino, Grasshopper, Autocad, and Photoshop

Construction Document - Miami University Oxford, Ohio This project aimed to design a full set of construction drawings for an office building to be constructed in Oxford, Ohio, following the Ohio building and zoning codes. The key features of the project-

• 1+ 3 Structure, with mechanical/storage in the basement, restaurant/bar on the first floor, and architecture office on the top two floors with access to a roof garden. • Universal design techniques are used by introducing ADA codes, color-coded rooms, and directional lighting to create a design for all. • Sustainable designing techniques incorporated by using Tesla solar tiles that mimic traditional roof tiles of

Oxford while providing enough energy to power the building during the daytime and green seasonal garden.

Softwares used: Autocad (Construction documents), Revit (3D Rendering and visualization), and Photoshop
