The Gresham Smith aviation studio tasked me with producing design options and supporting drawings for various parts of a large scale international airport. I was later involved in the production of the 50% document set for the same project.

At Corgan, I was tasked with producing construction documents, and renderings for three major international airports. As a core team member, I gained hands-on experience using tools like Revit, Enscape, and SketchUp.

During my four-month stint at Landrum & Brown, I received extensive experience in terminal design and planning. My role at the firm included producing proposal-worthy graphics, modeling on software for client presentation, and construction documents.

RED HOOK HOUSING PROJECT

Fall 2022 Core Studio

In a New York City neighborhood deficient of growth, cut off from the rest of it’s own borough, the Red Hook Housing project brings life to the vibrant community. This dynamic development looks to address pressing issues including lack of food, lack of habitable public space and help small business owners in the community reach a larger city-wide market. A key design consideration was to bring in the best of Brooklyn into the site for better community engagement.

• Creating a balanced live-work community

• Public program that is fluid, and flexible

• Space for community drives and grocery FOCUS

• Resources to further development of people

GROUND FLOOR

On the ground level, the community is open to the public on the Southern half of the site, while more private at the North half. The central courtyard is accessible only to residents.

TYPICAL FLOOR

Typical floor plans include economical 1 Bedroom units, 2 Bedroom units and 3 Bedroom units. On Level 2, an exterior space and garden, for community events lies to the southeast.

NORTH ELEVATION

The materials used on the Southern & North Elevations reflect a palette of vernacular brick, and wood accents. The Southern facade opens up to local landmark Coffey Park, and hence is more welcoming than that of the Northern side.

AEROPOLEOMECHA

CVG AIRPORT CITY

Fall 2020 Optional Studio

Aeropoleomecha serves as a long term solution to Cincinnati’s air travel and cargo demands, set in a few decades from today. The project is a combination of large scale space planning, terminal design and urban design. On the landside sits a large commercial complex and IT park space that serves as a base for short term business travelers into the city.

• Spacing of facilities to help flow of planes.

• Adequate frontage to service 100 aircraft

• Proximity of train hub to terminal

• Indoor experiential qualities

When dusk falls on this steep hillside in eastern Cincinnati, the nocturnal thrivers come out to play. The urban framework cannot promise these creatures complete darkness, so we created a space for the effects of light pollution on their livelihoods to be studied. By combining the built and natural environment, we can allow communities to first-hand witness the negative effects of pollution on flora and fauna.

DUBAI MEGAPORT

Air travel is supposed to be simple and effective, which is why the Dubai Megaport is a unique solution to future air travel. It unpacks the essence of an airport and aims to get passengers to gate and out as quickly as possible. Dubai will see two hundred million air travelers in a century from now, and it’s current airport is already at full capacity. The Dubai Megaport aims to be a focal point of urban growth, while giving prime real estate back to the city for expansion.
