Dear Friends, Welcome to Falmouth Academy and the Simon Center for the Arts. Tonight this venue has been imaginatively transformed into a colorful garden for an event that we hope will prove most fruitful to the students who grow every day in the fertile and nourishing soil that is Falmouth Academy. We’re so pleased that you have joined us for “A Bloomin’ Auction and Benefit,” an evening of fellowship, great music, delicious food and drink, and lively bidding on a wide range of generously donated items. Proceeds from tonight’s event support the Fund for Falmouth Academy, which helps bridge the gap between tuition revenues and the full cost of educating our students, supporting our outstanding faculty, and maintaining our beautiful campus. This event would not be possible without generous contributions from the scores of parents, friends, and businesses who have provided the items available for purchase this evening: original artwork, handmade crafts, fine furniture, vacation packages, family experiences, gift certificates, and more. There’s something for everyone, including our faculty’s requests for the Giving Tree as well as an opportunity to support this year’s very important Fund-a-Need, which will enable the school to make significant and necessary upgrades to its technology infrastructure. We’ll share a brief video, produced by Falmouth Academy students describing the need later this evening during the live auction. I’m so pleased at the generosity provided by tonight’s sponsors. I’m especially grateful for the leadership support of our Hydrangea Sponsors: Ferreira & Vazquez, PC and The Valle Group; Tulip Sponsors: Cataumet Boats, Inc. and Michael G. Jones; Table Sponsors: The Gulmann Group and C. H. Newton Builders, Inc.; and the Welcome Drink sponsor: Quicks Hole Tavern. Thank you all for making tonight’s event possible. This evening is the result of months of planning by our dedicated Auction Committee, led by Julianne Waite P’21. Tonight’s theme design was coordinated by Brenda Kerr P’19 and Lauren Leveque P’23. When you see the members of the Auction Committee (listed in this program) tonight, please thank them for their tireless efforts on behalf of the school. Please enjoy your evening and… bid generously and bid often! Our students and our faculty thank you. With gratitude,

Head of School
