ODLES LODGE DOLOMITES, ITALY
In May 2023, FORESTIS welcomed a sister property situated in the upand-coming location of the Dolomites: Odles Lodge. Further up the northern Italian Alps from FORESTIS, Odles Lodge is a stand-alone property in the up-and-coming setting of the Dolomites completely rebuilt in the past year due to a fire.
The lodge features four individual apartments at Odles Lodge, each with minimalist design details similar to the FORESTIS hotel, allowing guests to completely immerse into the surrounding nature elements.
Each of the four apartments were hand-crafted with local spruce and Swiss stone pine, essential oils of untreated local timber, and light sage green and cream hues to add touches of natural color in between the pine elements.
With different sizes and floor plans, the apartments are specially designed for longer stays with an open-plan living area, fully equipped kitchen with a wood-burning or South Tyrolean-style stove, bathroom with a shower, free-standing bathtub and amenities that ensure relaxation.
Upon arrival, the kitchen fridge is stocked with typical South Tyrolean specialties, such as homemade jams and juices, dairy products from local farmers, eggs, and smoked ham, and a mountain breakfast is delivered to the apartment doors every morning. Shuttle and shopping services can be arranged upon request.
The Odles Lodge Spa is an oasis tucked between the mountains within the green courtyard of the apartments, featuring a spacious in-ground pool, relaxing daybeds, stone- pine sauna, and steam bath, exclusive to Odles Lodge guests only. https://www.odleslodge.it/en
Armin Sader of the Asaggio Architects is the designer of Odles Lodge and FORESTIS. The aim was to let the dignity of nature flow into an architectural project and create something profound where the natural warmth and hospitality of the hosts can unfold. The three towers grow out of the Alpine terrain and stretch into the sky like tree trunks, providing an unimaginable view of mountains and natural light in the luxurious, minimalist suites.
