Expandable container shelter NIXUS | ECOS represents a solution for applications where a larger object with solid walls is required, with the possibility of quick unfolding, folding and moving to another location.

The patented ECOS solution is unique in that the container is expanded on both sides by a dimension corresponding to its own length after the horizontal folding of the side walls, whereas previous solutions offer an expansion corresponding to its own width or height. The total built-up area after expansion is approximately 14x6 meters and the internal usable area is 75 m2. The shelter roofs are supported by a reliable NIXUS high-pressure beam system.

The goal of the development was to provide a compact universal shelter with solid walls and built-in equipment for use as field accommodation, a hospital, a command post, etc., with the installation being handled by a 2–3-member vehicle crew. We develop and manufacture multi-spectral beacons for optical signaling. Our products provide a solution for the univalent identification of blue forces in order for them to be identified and in some cases not harmed by their colleagues. Armies use armored vehicles and infantry that look identical to the observation systems (Thermal), so it is impossible to distinguish between red and blue force. Our systems allow munitions weapons operators using video capabilities to know that the direction is not toward blue forces.

The procedure of use, a code word is said on the encrypted tactical radio, whoever hears, activates our Multispectral Beacon for a short time, and then the weapon system operator sees on the screen the Beacon in a predetermined pattern and knows which is the blue and who are the red forces.
