‘Animal Warfare - The Story of the Animal Liberation Front’ by David Henshaw (based on an earlier TV documentary by him) about the ALF in the UK, and the special efforts put into investigating it by police - notably by setting up the Animal Rights National Index (ARNI), which over the years became integrated into the notorious ‘spy cop’ outfit the National Public Order Intelligence Unit (NPOIU).
