ABOUT
Trofee Styyle Records is the new phenomenon to hit rap music. Featured artists, Eric “Victory” Johnson, Shannon “Mr. Arrogant” Speed, and Renaldo “Naldo” Hardeman, are all distinct masterminds hailing from Fort Worth, Texas. Trofee Styyle Records is actually the combination of Shannon (Trofee) and Eric’s (Styyle) record label. Trofee Styyle Records has been in the business of making music for 5 years now. Eric “Victory” Johnson is known for his annihilation and victory over rivals in every free-style battle since high school. However, Eric began rapping back in middle school. Inspired by his grandmother to chase his dreams and “go get it”, Eric has never looked back. He continues to write, perform, and produce great music. His latest single, “I Get My Shine On”, will prove his enormity in music while staying socially relevant with tracks such as “Message To The People” and the Obama anthem “Yes We Can.” His humility, perseverance, and experience will continue to push him ahead of the game. Eric’s first disc, “Young, Sexy”, will place you in the mood to celebrate and feel good about yourself. His second disc, “Spiritual, Grown, & Soul-FULL”, will make you reflect on life and make necessary changes for self- improvement. With a website, three record labels, and five untamed artists, Eric has much going on for him. Additionally, he has several upcoming business ventures: a clothing line, a family entertainment center and stage plays. Shannon Speed a.k.a. “Mr. Arrogant” epitomizes zeal. You can always expect great music from Speed. His tenacity is proven in the single “Hit ‘em”. Simply put, his album has “something for everybody” - whether spiritual, uplifting, or lyrical – Speed’s solo album is sure to attract a wide variety of demographics. Speed’s favorite written piece is “Memory Lane”, but he loves performing to the club mix “That’s My S**t.” With his vigor and variety of delivery, Speed is certain to keep his audience in tune and on edge. Since their inception, Trofee Styyle Records has been a relentless label comprised of the group Kataztro$fee and several other talented members. They demand the respect while seeking to takeover and leave an imprint on history. ARTISTS INFO:

Shannon “Mr. Arrogant” Speed
Hailing from Fort Worth, Shannon Speed brings a unique, exciting and charismatic flow to Trofee Styyle Records. Born on September 9, Speed’s sister Cassandra Johnson took on the role as mother and father to him. He also has two brothers Kenneth and Kendrick Speed. Speed has been described as smooth, intelligent, creative, immaculate, temperamental and charming by his peers: hence the name “Mr. Arrogant”. His confidence is displayed in every one of his performances. Speed’s interest and love for music began when he was just 3 years old. He would sneak into his mother’s parties to dance and perform for a room full of people. Even then, Speed has always been an extrovert, entertaining any environment. He was always the life of every party he attended. Some may view him to be conceited; however, he would say that “I just have a high opinion of myself.” Speed also believes that “if everyone felt good and strived to improve themselves individually the way I do, things on this earth would be a lot smoother.” Shannon Speed actually began rapping and freestyling in the 9th grade. The freestyling is actually how Eric “Victory” Johnson and Speed became friends. Even the teachers noticed the crowds they were attracting, which continuously grew every rap session. Their bond has blossomed into an unstoppable collaborative effort. Fast forward through the years and you get the group KATAZTROFEE, which formally was called “Trama”. While trying to get copyrighted, the two of them realized that the name “Trama” had already been secured. Therefore it was time to find a new name that was a clear description of their teamwork. “We wanted to come up with a name that described what we did best, which was win with style! That's how the 2 labels came into existence TROFEE/STYYLE! We changed a few letters and the rest was history. Since we destroyed all competition in a catastrophic way we decided to call ourselves KATAZTROFEE! Our music ranges from fun to uplifting; we literally touch all categories when it comes to this music.” With his single “Hit ‘em”, Shannon Speed is destined to charm and energize audiences everywhere!

Eric “Victory” Johnson
Eric is a natural-born survivor. He was born prematurely at a measly 4 pounds on April 4, 1985 in Fort Worth. Not only did he overcome the obstacle of doctors questioning his ability to breathe on his own, but three years later, Eric and his family – both parents and three elder siblings – were all victims of a massive house fire. Eric and his older brother were the only survivors. He always knew there was something special about himself. Adopted by his grandparents, Eric struggled to find his identity while trying to make a mark in the world. Eventually, he found an outlet and a passion in music. His first love was in the sound of an acoustic guitar. He began pretending to play one around the house hoping one day his fingers would actually strum real strings. At the tender age of 8, Eric began listening at the door of his brother’s room. His brother would frequently listen to rap music, recite lyrics and free style to instrumental beats with friends. At that point, Eric realized that Hip-Hop Music was his strongest passion. By the eighth grade, Eric Johnson, known as “Turbulence” at the time, had already made a name for himself around school as the best freestyler. His reputation carried on into his high school years by competing and claiming victory against upper-classmen. Eric would attract crowds and naturally command attention. Realizing his true potential and talent, Eric felt that he needed a new name that described him, his personality, who he was, and what he stood for. He now presented himself as “Victory”; the one who has blossomed and persevered through trials and tribulations. As it was time to make his mark. Eric and his best friend, Shannon “Mr. Arrogant” Speed, formed a group called "Trama" which is now known as Kataztro$fee. They added two new members in 2001; one of which is still a part of the group, R&B sensation Keitrick "K-Smoove" Morris. After graduating from Crowley High School in May of 2003, Eric struggled to find who he was. Continuing to channel his anger and stress through music, he became a marvel in Fort Worth neighborhoods for releasing the classic demo album "Drop ‘em Like Rain". Afterwards, he executive produced Shannon Speed's first album. Again, in 2004, he released another album, "Bak At It." This soul-filled album showed the maturity in his life from a boy to a man. Now, after a four-year break, Eric is back at it again! This time, he decided to have fun with his music, like he did on his first project. “I put my life in this album. Everything that you hear on this one is the last few years of my life. My music is real. I learned that I have a lot of different personalities, which is why I can relate to everybody going through all types of things. People feel my music because I speak about real life situations. Sometimes I feel young, and sexy. Those are the times that I want to go out, party, have fun, and just do me. Other times I feel spiritual, grown, and soulful. These are the times that I'm responsible and feel like I need to save the world from its lack of knowledge, heartaches, and pain. That's why I'm releasing a double-disc with two different feels of music.” Eric “Victory” Johnson will be heard from in many years to come!
