They are endangered because they are commercially hunted for food in: Europe, China, Russia and Mexico.
III. Sadly, there is no easy way to save the Humboldt squid because they are not protected.

Vampire squid I. Food-Do not drink blood -Dead skin of other animals -Mucus II. They are endangered because they are hunted by: Whales, Sea Lions and Giant Grenadiers. III. Much like the Humboldt Squid it is very hard to save the Vampire Squid without making all of it’s predators extinct.

Flying squid I. Food-mainly crustaceans -can resort to cannibalism II. They are endangered because they are fished in: Japan, Korea and China. III. Since they die after they mate the best way to help them is donate to an organisation trying to increase the population of flying squid.

giant squid I. Food-smaller squids II. They are hunted by sperm whales. III. Some effort has been made by japan to stop the attacks of giant squids but they are mostly vulnerable.
