Fog Dancer - Photo Manipulation This piece was one of the first projects I did at DMAC. I’m very influenced by Surrealism and I love depicting the impossible.

Sunglasses - Gradient Mesh Gradient mesh is fun as well as challenging. I did my mesh of some designer sunglasses by Marc Jacobs in Illustrator CS4.
HipCycle - Charcoal & Chalk This piece is 33”x34” and it is one of the biggest I’ve ever done. The idea was to combine something mechanical and something organic. I chose a human pelvis and hip bone and combined it with a bicycle.

Mirco-Macro - Graphite This piece starts off as a hand wearing a ring, and as it moves closer and closer into the ring, it still keeps an interesting composition. You may not understand the bottom right corner alone, but if you saw the other sections, you would realize it’s only a small part of the big picture.
Lost Keys - Font Design I wanted to create a decorative font that integrated a small but important object into lettering. Each letter has one key that is different from all the others.

Einstein’s Dreams - Book Cover Redesign This book originally had a very boring cover consisting of two circles touching. I redesigned this cover to have the top of Einstien’s head disconnected as if on a hinge with his theory of relativity (E=MC2) coming out. The title is a black bar covering Einstein’s eyes, although it’s obvious that it is Einstein.
Interpretation’s of Dreams by Sigmund Freud - Book Cover Redesign The original cover for this book was blank with the title in a serif font. This book being about interpreting dreams, I thought about my own dreams and how bizarre they can be. I went with something surrealistic-- kids with fruit for heads. 7
The Psychobilly Freakout - Magazine Cover Design This fictional magazine is all about rockabilly and psychobilly music. Featuring a rockabilly babe sporting a one piece swim suit by Esther Williams, highlighted with a neon green light emanating from the title.

Pins and Needles - 8 Page Booklet Sewing has always been a hobby of mine. I especially love vintage dresses, so I made this booklet vintage themed. Pins and Needles is my fictional alterations and dress shop specializing in 50’s fashion.

Classy Injury - Skateboard Deck Design Beauty meets the grotesque in this vector skateboard design.

Bug Eyes - Skateboard Deck Design A very stylized drawing painted in Photoshop of a redheaded girl with large yellow eyes. The red of her hair and the green pattern background create a complimentary relationship.

Freedom of Religion - Brochure Design Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Freedom of Religion. Unfold the square brochure to see the statistics of the world’s most populated religions. Open the entire brochure to see hands grasping one another in unity with religious symbols in henna tattooing. 13

Bobbin & Me - Movie Poster A knock off of Marley & Me, my Basset Hound makes a much cuter Marley. These photos had been taken prior to the assignment of creating a movie poster, so I had to do a lot of pen tool selecting and lighting correction in order for the subject to look right on the white background.
Hopeful Flower - Photo Manipulation A flower in the trunk of a junkyard car dreams of places like the Egyptian Pyramids, the city, or even a backyard with a slide.

Adrien Robinson was born in Pendleton, Oregon and grew up in Brunswick, Maine. She graduated Highschool in 2008 from Brunswick High and later went to Heartwood College of Art, a small Fine Arts school in Kennebunk, Maine.
