Alexis Drymonitis Alexis Drymonitis (1973), has studied Architecture, Urban Design and Law at Universities in Greece and Italy. He is Married, Father of a Daughter and Parent of a Golden Retriever. He is passionate, apart from the ones mentioned before, about Photography, Animal Welfare, Civil Rights and Social Action. He was involved in major projects, such as, Thessaloniki’s Underwater Highway, the Refurbishment of Kaftantzoglio Stadium (Olympic Games, Athens 2004), the development of Star Channel TV and Radio Studio Building, etc. Between 2005 and 2007, Alex became Department Manager at the companies’ branch in Athens. In Athens he subsequently worked for Kion Consultants S.A. (2007-2008) as head of the Architectural Team. Alex undertook the responsibility of reforming and evolving a small team of young architects into an effective and competitive Architectural branch. In consequence he became Head Architect and Project Manager of Kion Architects S.A. (2008-2011), a company consisted by the architectural team of Kion Consultants which grew beyond expectations, exceeding the limits of the parent company. His responsibilities included, Human Resources’ Motivation and Coordination, Company’s representation, Supervision of Physical Object’s Development, (construction) as well as on site adjustment of delivered Architectural Studies, etc. He was responsible for the Architectural Design of large scale public and private works, such as administrative offices, school assemblies and hotel facilities. He also successfully participated in Private and National Architectural Competitions and Feasibility Studies for infrastructure such as airports, sports facilities and administrative offices. 1
Alexis, since 2011, is founding partner of the Architectural Office “AM3 ARCHITECTS LTD”, in which he is professionally active until today. The last years, along with his team, have gained deep experience in Touristic Infrastructure and specifically in Hotel Design, Bank Brances Renovation etc. The company was trusted to renovate Makryammos Bungalows in Thassos Island, to an up to date Luxury Resort for 500 visitors, as well as to refurbish a bank branch for National Bank of Greece. AM3 ARCHITECTS, under Alexi’s guidelines, is also one of the few Architectural Companies in Greece that delivers Development Plans for emerging markets (Health Services, Tourist Infrastructure) within the massive legislation reforming that is taking place the last years. Αναγνώρισε τους περιορισμούς και τις δυνατότητες του προτεινόμενου, υφιστάμενου κτιρίου. Αξιοποιώντας τις υποδείξεις των στελεχών μας, συνέβαλε στην αναγνώριση των λειτουργικών αναγκών του Ομίλου και στη προβολή τους στους χώρους εργασίας.
