Cost Effective Short runs means lower costs and because you only print what you need, you only pay for what you need.

> Full colour large format printing

Durable

> No plate or origination costs

PIRA tested print durability.

In-house Digital Braille Facility Chester Medical Solutions is the FIRST carton manufacturer to offer digital Braille. Our ÂŁ150,000 investment allows the printing of Braille dots onto a carton without the need for special tooling, making it ideal for short runs and digitally printed cartons.

It is installed in our PS9000 certified digital production suite at our carton and leaflet manufacturing facility.

The system uses a polymer ‘drop on demand’ nozzle to apply the Braille, which is then UV cured. After application, a vision verification system checks each carton for dot presence, height and circumference, and translates the Braille into human readable text for operators to check. Print quality and resolution are excellent and the height of the dot meets all international requirements. Smithers Pira transit trials have also confirmed the robustness of the Braille. The Marburg Medium typeface is used, which is recommended by relevant European and North American standards for pharmaceutical packaging. 17

Cartons and Leaflets Carton Manufacturing Using Lithographic, Screen and Digital print processes we have the facility to provide quality, flexibility and competitive pricing from small batches to large all with PS9000 accreditation. Our carton printing and finishing equipment is fully focused on achieving the optimum make-ready times whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality. We produce a variety of different style cartons from conventional RTE and aeroplane tuck through to crash lock base cartons, clinical trial wallets and complex integral insert packs.

No handling or transport charges are applied to our pricing when CMS carry out the packing operation. For short runs why not consider using our digital printing service?
