Total Number of Rain Advisory Days 2000 – 2018
The following graph (Figure 15) depicts the total number of Rain Advisory Days issued for ocean, harbor and bay waters from 2000 – 2018. In 2018, Orange County experienced a total of 47 Rain Advisory Days which is below the 19-year average of 55 Rain Advisory Days per year from 2000 – 2018. In addition, the long-term trend indicates a decrease in the total number of Rain Advisory Days posted during the 19-year period from 2000 – 2018.
