GOVETT. On Sabbath 1.4.23, an early celebration of Alfred and Norma’s 60th wedding anniversary was held in Albury, NSW. It was a privilege and honour to celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary together. Alfred and Norma’s five children, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild gathered with spouses and partners for this special occasion. A morning tea was held the next morning to celebrate with a few significant lifetime friends. The actual anniversary was celebrated at home in Boho, Vic, on the 11.4.23. Congratulations and God bless them both.

Obituaries

MCINTYRE , Eileen Narelle (nee Maisey), born 12.4.1924 in Strathfield, NSW; died 15.1.23 in Sydney Adventist Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert in 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen (Pennant Hills). Nerelle lived a full life with her husband, and they enjoyed many overseas trips together. She was a committed church member with a special gift for friendship and hospitality and was a member of Epping church for almost 60 years, serving in many different church offices. Nerelle had a cheerful and positive outlook on life, “a life in full colour.” She will always be fondly remembered by family and friends. She now awaits the call to life from the Saviour whom she loved and served.

POTTER, Ronald Kevin, born 12.8.1930 in Mildura, Vic; died 10.3.23 in Mildura. He is survived by his wife, Rose (Mildura); children, Jeff and Lily (Kooralbyn, Qld); Maree (Albury, NSW); David and Lenore (Berowra Heights); Alan and Kathy (Mildura, Vic); eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Kevin was a man of deep faith and integrity who worked hard for his family and brightened lives with laughter and fun.

WHITE, Beverley Annette (nee Dixon), born 18.8.1953 in Kalgoorlie, WA; died 23.3.23 in Rossmoyne. On 23.3.1996 she married Robert. She is survived by her husband (WA); brothers, Neville (WA) and Kevin (Qld); and sister, Joy Newitt (Qld). Bev was a very loving wife, daughter and sister. She was a faithful and self-effacing Christian with a deep love and commitment to Her Lord. She looked forward to His return.
