Annual Bursaries On Offer From QCWA

QCWA is pleased to assist last year’s graduating Grade 12’s as they commence their tertiary studies, said the Condamine Valley/Warwick Branch President and Bursary Organiser, Penny Campbell-Wilson.

“This year we are offering three students, who may be experiencing some financial strain, the opportunity to apply for one of our Bursaries. Our Branch members are more than aware of the increase in the costs of virtually everything and have increased the Bursaries to $2,000 this year to each of our successful applicants.

Applications are invited by graduating full time 2022 Grade 12 students who reside in the QCWA Border Division, which entails the entire Southern Downs Council region and includes the Goondiwindi region.” Penny said.

Bursary applications close on Tuesday, 28th February at 5.00p.m. Application forms are available from the QCWA Condamine Valley/Warwick Rooms at 76 Grafton Street, Warwick. The Rooms are open Tuesday to Friday from 9.00a.m. – 2.00p.m. The Bursaries are administered by the QCWA Border Division.

Last year students from secondary schools in Stanthorpe, Goondiwindi and Warwick were successful in being awarded a Bursary.
